ls /usr/X11R6/bin Should list what is in there and should give an idea of the file name. It's odd though as I had tried that version of mandrake and not got that error... must be some weird install burp. Doing that command on mine shows a symlink in the directory to X and also the file Xorg but then again I'm using xorg and not xfree86.
