And it does list at the bottom of "man X" what other files they might want to check out man wise. Such as in man X I think there is that reset of x command that doesn't invovle having to exit X and restart it that way. Reading "man X" will show him how to add his fonts and later the odd little thing and clarify what all he can do. Also I suppose he can look here for an overview of .Xdefaults as well for somethings involving wheel mice.
