| It's not like colon cancer is "unknown"... What's his deal? Is he saying the population at large are too leery of the screening process?
I remember that there were people who would rather die than face the alternative to prostate cancer (i.e. non-working male genitalia), but it didn't think that guys would rather die than have a colonoscopy. Or am I wrong?
It's not exactly a "pleasant" experience to have one's breasts squished flat in the mammography machine, either, but I and thousands (millions?) of women suffer through this every year or even more frequently. And the "screening/testing" for ovarian cancer includes drinking 20+ ounces of water and not peeing while a technician presses on your bladder with an utrasound wand. (THAT's a lot of fun, let me tell you!) And that test is quesionable in finding early ovarian cancer, but that's all they have right now. (and women are also at risk for colon cancer, AIR).
