Why Jamie Foxx's role in Collateral is considered a supporting role. For me the whole movie is about Foxx's character dealing with his captivity and the conflict about getting the assassin to his next victim. I would say that both Foxx and Cruise have a lead role in that movie. And if any, Cruise is the one with the (well-played) support role, basically just providing the moral and mortal dilemma for Foxx's character. Anyway, my call for male support role would be Foxx or Carradine, with a tendency toward Foxx. Others: Best Performance - Actress - Comedy: Winslet Best Performance - Actor - Drama: Depp Best Foreign Film: Motorcycle Diaries
