I just read an article on the Sydney Morning Herald's site about a rapist currently active in my local suburbs. It's almost 1am, Val_Parthen is on his way home from a friend's, so I'm home alone and I'm starting to freak out a little. The article says he attacks in people's homes, breaking in through open windows or doors. We're on the second floor [as in, the one above ground], and most of the currently open windows have bars on them. We only have one door, which has a locked gate as well as the door which is of course locked. So I'm trying to tell myself not to worry, but I also don't have the courage to get up from my desk and go close/check the unbarred windows. wibblewibble
