According to the Canadian Apple Store (www.apple.com/ca/ , click on "store" at the top): Starting prices for the "consumer" models: Mac Mini (no screen, keyboard or mouse): 629 C$ eMac (All-in-one with 17' CRT): 999 C$ iMac (All-in-one with 17' flat screen): 1599 C$ iBook (laptop): 1249 C$ Sure, you can buy 2000+ C$ macs, but you can also spend a lot less ;-) It might also be cheaper for a Canadian to buy a mac in the US (support service is worldwide); Apple tends to be stingy when making exchange rate conversions.
