kinda reposted from yesterday, I'll take the liberty of saying that Debian Sid (aka unstable, but that name if phony if you ask me) does include kernel 2.6.9 - 2.6.10 was out a few days ago (yesterday?) and I expect it packaged very soon. One cool thing with Debian is kernel-package, which builds a .deb from a kernel source tree, so you can compile a kernel on one machine, and install on another just like you would install any other package.
