sense to you... Basically tho-- for 18 coins you will need a minimum of 4 recursions(weighs) for 12, 3 for 8, 2 someone with more time than I can figure out what that means, probably using y= ax(x) +bx + c where y is the minimum number of recursions and x is the number of coins.. this will make a curve but the idea is that for fractions you would round up to the nearest integer (because you cant have a part of a recursion...)
