Our company did something awful with the company holidays for 2005 (they are still trying to get a grasp the whole customer service 7 days a week thing). New Years day isn't considered a holiday. I have to work today and tomorrow and I won't get paid any extra - while the rest of the company still get's to enjoy the new year's celebrations I have to go to be early so I can be to work at 6 a.m. and still not get paid extra for it.
