I had a similar experience with my younger son. He was in a car seat which I had put up on a coat rack while I was putting on my coat. The car seat with him securely in it fell off and hit face down on the floor. He also had a skull fracture and swelling, but the emergency room had the attitude that "babies bounce." Ian turned out OK but I was a wreck.

This will cause you to question your judgement and your ability as a parent. This is OK since all of us need a check on our actions. Don't beat yourself up unnecessarily.

BTW, the social workers will be by; don't let them hassle you overmuch. Their job is to see that Krillin's overall welfare hasn't been compromised.
