Blasted "No we won't let you get your new kit delivered to the office, and we won't let you specify a day when somebody will be around to pick it up" policy... I have a job. This means I'm not around to receive parcels. I'm not going to take flexi leave just to be around to get my new monitor.

So I ordered via Dabs instead. Cheaper, and less hassle. 1-3 working days for delivery, as I carefully made sure they had it in stock... and then I can have a nice TFT that gives me desk space and isn't moribund like my current CRT is.
