reinstalling OS by dennismv2004-12-30 23:01:55
...You don't have another partition? by themadkansan2004-12-30 23:05:31

Are there any thing that you need to do in this case that you wouldn't need to do if you have OS and user data on the same drive ?

i.e. when you install programs, sometimes program's default paths to save its data is in some folder where the program was installed. Thus some user stuff may potentially go on the drive where OS and programs are. Then you can't blindly wipe this partition, you need to check first if it's okay to erase.

Any other ?
