They have to start with a base reality (ours) and take a step to the right... To make it more palatable for non rabid comic book geeks...(the general populace) ie. " What would you prefer... Yellow Spandex?" rabid comic book geeks (like me) will endlessly argue over nitpicks, however, the adaptations for the big screen showed the best of what a comic book movie could be... Moongoddess
