My kitty is now in a new home. by shorty82 2004-12-30 20:04:47
While I was taking a trailer load of trash from the moving out to the dump my old neighbors who had moved across town a few months ago came by the house to see how my brother and I were doing and to find out how my mom was doing. The lady that was there cleaning told them about my cat needing a new home and they were glad to take her.

They already have three small-breed dogs and a cat they got last week from the shelter but I feel Spider-Monkey (my kitty) will adapt well. They said that if they knew last week that I had to give up my kitty they wouldn't have gotten the one from the shelter, but two cats are fine. I never even thought about calling them.

Spider-Monkey was hiding in her carrier when I went by this evening to take her rabies tag and papers from her vet visit she had on Tuesday. I pulled her out and took her over to the dogs and though she was a little nervous she did ok. I feel that she and the dogs will get along ok. Same with the other cat.

Though I was sad that she was gone when I got back from the dump I was even happier that she had gone to a great home. I was so happy I nearly cried. Other than my aunt I'd trust no one more to give Spider-Monkey a good home.
