Recreating a TV series: does it ever work? by SnappingTurtle2006-11-19 12:55:59

The original British show was (is?) brilliant, witty, well written, well acted, and well produced.

The attempted American re-work, even through it had the blessing of (and some cooperation with) the original producers, was horrible. It was pulled from the air after only a few episodes.
