Superman is pretty easy, only three major versions, Golden Age / Earth 2, Silver Age / Earth 1, and the Post Crisis. Pocket Universe is the Pre SUperman Superboy then he died, easy enough. Then you have a minor revision to superman Post Zero Hour, but still mainly the same. Legion is much much much much much more differcult, as screwing with the timeline is like part of the main plot of the series.
