Spiderman was what, 2 1/2 hours long? For them to cram in Spidey's origin, as well as the Green Goblin, and even the end of the first Green Goblin, there was no way they'd be able to cover every little thing. Besides, it was awesome enough that it made up for it. Oh, and J.J.J. was perfect.
