where I grew up. I know this sounds bad, but you never saw people firing guns to celebrate in the affluent, white parts of town. But in the poor, drug infested, predominately black portions of town, it was pretty common. I can remember being at a friend's house who lived near the boarder of the bad neighborhood. You could hear the gun shots going off all over the place at midnight and you just prayed none of those bullets fell on your head. I think alot of the foolishness is helped along by various forms of alcohol.
