| it's considered "literature" - Nick Hornby wrote it, and it's set in London, of all places, but the book works and is great, and the film works and is also great. I highly recommend the book. Highly. Hornby can WRITE. (He also wrote "about a boy", which was also made into a decent film - haven't read the book yet, though).
I discovered all of this editing someone's doctoral dissertation on the film (and sort of the book). So I had to watch the film and read the book in order to properly edit the dissertation. The film and book were way better than the dissertation, though. And I have less respect for PhDs earned from online universities, now, too. (especially in English or Film or whatever her major was) |
