so I can't really judge how good the adaptation was/is, but I liked as films the following:
Men in Black (both of them)
Superman 1
Batman 1, and some of Batman 2
Both Spiderman films (but I have nits in the second one) (and I never read the comic but used to watch the Saturday morning cartoons)
Hellboy
First Matrix - just barely. Mostly it's the film's score that was really amazing, and the effects.
X-Men, but I understand it deviates from accepted canon (and I used to watch that cartoon, too, but never read the comics) |
