The first two at least had a modiocum of tension. The T-X in T3 is just ludicrously bad at her job, which killed that; the 'ending' of three basically threw away all the "free to define own future" paradigm of the first two for a cheap shot; and John Connor is more annoying as a dropout than he was as a l33t k1dd1e.
