Good film adaptations of books by voxwoman2004-12-30 11:23:41

that's 3.5 hours long. There were things I liked about Lynch's "dune", but the screenplay wasn't one of them. Liked the sets, costumes (except for the 3rd stage Guild Navagators and the stupid cat/rat thing the Harkonen had). Sting's acting was laughable, and Kyle McGloghlan was unconvincing as well.

I though the SciFi channel's version did a better job of conveying the story than Lynch did.
