Memory dodgy or motherboard? by richlondoner 2006-11-19 12:55:59
Ok, just got some new ram installed, done this before so nice and easy. Originally had 2 x 256mb and now just put in a 512mb stick.

WindozXP won't recognise the new ram. Although when I ran SiSoftware's Sandra it came up with the ram being installed.

Any idea why XP won't recognise the new memory.

My motherboard is a Asus A7V333 (clicky)

Do I have to set a jumper, or change anything in the bios?

Thanks,
Richard
