It is kind of a nice thought. The universe seems to be expanding, assuming it will continue to do so we will become a very lonely galaxy which will eventually die when all the H burns out. Instead if there is a running series of universes that expand and then collapse, everything will be recreated and there will be no final ending... (that would be a kind of a reincarnation...maybe not on an individual level but...)
