there are times I think that this scumbag or that dirtbag deserves to die a slow painful death... then I remember that if ONE innocent person dies at the hands of the state, the entire process (IMVHO) is de-legitimized... but I also realize that I value the sanctity of human life more than others may.

I also try to remember that when dealing with savages, it is usually best to NOT become that which you despise...
