Gimp help... by MrTrick 2004-12-21 17:50:29
Lets say I've got an anti-aliased imagine in black, on a white background.

What I *wanted* was to put it in my image as a yellow logo, keeping the smoothness that anti-aliasing gives. I gave up, and did the logo in white. ( inverting the image, copying it into its layer, then using the additive layer property to turn the logo area white without affecting the background colors)

For future reference, how would I turn an anti-aliased picture from black and white to *color* and transparent?
