the cable modem assigns IPs in the 192.168.100.11 to 192.168.100.42 range, so your router got one of those. Then your router gives out IPs in the $(cat /dev/random) range, so your 220.237... IP makes perfect sense. Try a broadcast ping to see what IP the router has so that you can configure it.

Oh, and you *Googled* for the modem's IP address?!
