So why can some Nations keep internal peace and some others can not ?

It would seem, for a nation to be at peace internally the main interest of the participants in the nation have to be met. Once that is not the case you get conflict in that nation. (e.g. the USA / CSA civil war)

Now, those two fractions had fought their fight and one side won. But consider maybe one military superior power had taken the side of the South and boosted them to victory? What would have happened the moment that superior power would have left?

I think WHEN there are aspects that make it impossible for some people to live together in the same nation, than it might be a better course of action to have them create multiple nations. Or a nation where there are local governments who can handle some administration themselves, independently from the central government. (Like the States in the US or the Federal States in Germany).

And it don't think it's a good course of action to kill people off who don't want to be part of a nation.
