My roommate got some brand new pine boxes with brass hinges(and locking loop thing... you know you fit a lock through it. I don't know the name for such things) For $14 from surplus. It had prior held artillery shells but now is a gun case for him. IF I had use for a box that big I'd of bought one too. Oh and they also had rather nice thick rope handles on them.
