John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believs in Him shall not perish (spiritually), but have eternal (spiritual) life.
Romans 10:9 - If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
You can do stupid things in your life and still get to heaven. As a matter of fact, the Bible says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." That's why Jesus came to earth to die on a cross and be resurrected. Without His sacrifice, we're not worthy to enter heaven.
So long as Bush has given his life to Christ and repented of his sins, he will go to heaven. It's that simple, no matter what people think about the war and/or his actions. |
