Standard Li-Ion CC-CV charge. 1 Amp until 4.2V and then constant voltage until the current drops to around 100mA

They are rated at 6Amps 3.8V nominal, 4.2V max but that sort of current decreases their life. Li-Ions are very temperature sensative, they shouldn't be charged between 0C and 45C. Unless you want them to explode in which case any temperature is fine.

The problem is that my monitor chip uses a different temperature sensor to the charge control chip and there is no easy way of making sure that either of them are measuring the temperature of the cells themselves.

I'm charging it on my desk wrapped in about 6 layers of bubble wrap.

4.09V, 66.25C and still going up...
