Things I see missing from the description, Ethernet? USB? Wireless? Also that is the type of thing that will die in no time flat, who knows what hardware it has. Just tell your friend to walk away. Get something new, either an iBook (really good ed discounts) or a windows notebook of some sort (don't know what there is out there good though)
