If you have signed anything with the recruiter, however, you are screwed. Basically, the company will love you for not going thru a recruiter. Recruiters make a % of your salary, which either comes out of your pocket or the companies. Either way, YOU pay it eventually. Bypassing the recruiter is better for the company and thus a Good Thing for you as well.
