Check your CPU Fan / reset your CMOS by Funtime 2004-12-21 07:31:33
My motherboard has a feature in the BIOS that it will check for the CPU Fan before it'll turn on. When I swapped the Heatsink/Fan for a better model, I didn't realize it was a low speed fan, so my computer would turn itself back off within a second of turning it on. I hooked the old fan back up (and put the new fan to the system fan header), and then I could boot to BIOS and disable the CPU Fan Protect option.
