recursive -> iterative by dennismv2004-12-21 02:24:43
  Umm... by MaW 2004-12-21 02:34:25
...well I'm usually more concerned with converting an iterative algorithm to a recursive one, as I'm a Haskell programmer (some of the time) and Haskell does recursion rather than iteration, but since it seems to be possible to represent iterative algorithms in general as recursive algorithms, I would suspect that it's also possible to go the other way - although there's no promises on that, as the set of recursive algorithms could be larger than the set of iterative algorithms. If I think of anywhere that would be good to look for information on this I'll come back and mention it.
