Sometimes running out of paper works well... by MrTrick 2006-11-19 12:55:59
Doing the christmas-present-wrapping thing on the weekend...

I bought a plush kangaroo with baby kangaroo (joey) for my little 5yr old cousin. The 'mummy' kangaroo went in a box and was wrapped. (Gimme a break, kangaroos have complex geometries)

The joey was going to difficult to wrap, too... (why can't all plush things be square!) I cut off a section of toilet paper roll (kitchen paper, actually - don't worry, it's clean) that the joey would fit inside, and tried wrapping it. I didn't cut quite enough paper though, so the top wouldn't close. Ah well, it's still good. I tied a bow to one of the ears, and left it at that. (Damn, it was hard to tie the bow though...)

Think she'll like it?
