says so right on the fancy metal one I've got perched atop the coffeemaker. I end up using about a half cup of grounds per pot. I used to make it much stronger, but I started consuming about a pot a day and felt the need to cut back a wee bit.
Bear in mind that adding milk and ice will dilute your chilled coffe, so if you want each cup of the final blend to have just as much of a kick as BAS, you're going to have to make it stronger.
I'd suggest adding an extra scoop to each batch until you discover it is *too* strong, then use exactly one less scoop. ;)
It all comes down to preference and personal taste. Where'd you get a 7 cup pot? Every one I've seen is an even number, where the number of cups is greater than one. (Ah, specificity.)
