Or don't understand something feel free to ask. Several of us here have used mandrake. If your going with kde click the little widget thing. You will see there "control center" and click on that. Now if you don't like the size of fonts, or want to adjust something it should be in there. Oh and if you find it boots too fast you can fix that in there too... as well under that control center is a spot to make a boot disk if needed.
