Wereley was just my physics teacher, he was just known for those funny quotations. IB is indeed International Baccalaureate. And no, I'm not Da_Pineapple's hammer.

There's also another page in there, quotations by one Edmiston, who was a somewhat eccentric chemistry teacher.
