In the mandrake disks. Mozilla is there, though opera might not be. Gimp, various mail programs, various video/audio players and their plugins, xchat, gaim, etc should all be in there. :) There should be relatively little you need to download really and it should have an update daemon that you can run to get the latest versions of things. Oh and if you have a scanner it's driver may already be there. Same with the printer now that I think about it. Simply go to linux-mandrake.org and go to the "supported hardware" link on the left side. In there search for whatever you want and you should see the various hardware support level. :)
