We all suffer the same problem.... "It's obvious to me, it otta be obvious to everyone!" My local fishwrapper is notorious for introducing a name in paragraph 5 of a longish story, and then refer to the person again in paragraph 21,with no mention in between, leaving the readers scrambling to find how the name fits into the puzzle. It's just one of life's little non-sequiturs.
