I always include myself on my holiday shopping list. One year, it was a set of Milan Kundera's books (this was the year before "Immortality" came out, but there was a recently-new English version of "The Joke"). This year it was a subscription to "Granta", which I'd let lapse years ago due to the high additional cost of trans-Pacific postage.
