I've been working with MySQL for years (though only the minimum needed for my PHP scripts) and I still can't handle 2 table queries without trying to exactly copy an example. JOIN syntax is evil. Fortunately for me, multi-table queries tend to be slower and therefore it's better for me to avoid them, or so I tell myself.
