T'was the night before christmas, when all through the board
not a post was comming, not even a fnord
Illiad posted the comic with flare
in hopes regulars would see DP there
The gamers all laned in their beds
While visions of W:ET danced in their heads
And DP in his christmas hat, and us in our head phones
had settled down and went into the zones
When out of the box arose such a beeping
that we checkted them to see what was sweeping
Away to the tools I went in a dash
ran ad-aware and spybot in a flash
Nothing did show
except from a stream that I thought I did know
When what did I see
But a little SG running across my screen winking at me
With a french beret and a nerf too
It was the Erwin I knew
Fast as the data his deluge came
Programming in cobol he played a little game
Now Pitr, Now Greg
Now Miranda, and AJ
Come Stef, Cheif
Cthulu, and Crud Puppy
To Columbia
To Quake
Run away, Run away
Runaway All...
As caffine when it's gone for the night
they were off ready for a fight
So off through the system they flew
With Erwin and DP too
And then with a beep I heard on the speakers
the screching and scrawing of a modem tread with sneakers
As I look back
There was Illiad with a wise crack
He was dressed in his paper bag
and he ever forgot it's tag
His pencils in hand
Gee and here we thought he scanned
How his bag was brown and wrinkled
but even then his eyes twinkled
He was geeky attired
like he had just stepped of wired
In his other hand a cup he did hold
full of blends chai as he liked it bold
Humour and wit
For a breif moment he did sit
He was a geek or nerd if you will
full of cartoon skill
A wink of his eye and squiggle from his pencils
I knew I need not hide the utensils
He was quiet and went straight to adobe
I wondered if it was his precious toby
scanning and tweaking
he did upload it for people peaking
He dissapeared in a twinkle
for a second I swore my screen did wrinkle
But I thought I saw him type on screen
Merry christmas to all and even the bean!
/me yes I know semi lame and yea I did that after looking at the original twas the night before poem.
