... that just begged another question... Supposedly, I throw a package in the bin, forget to empty it, then re-install it... will the installed version be removed the next time I empty the bin..? That could be quite a hard one to figure out, if quite some time passed between binning the original, and emptying the bin... I admit to being quite lazy when it comes to bin emptying, 'cause retrieving a prgogram from the bin is usually my last line of defence if I suddenly realise that I deleted something I shouldn't have... hence, I am usually quite reluctant to empty the bin in a hurry...
