I just picked up my final essay for my History subject this session. Some of you may remember how it was handed in about 3 weeks late, with fingers crossed that my teacher would accept the extension and special consideration requests. Well, my final mark for the class told me that he must have accepted them, because I got 83 (got those marks back last week.)
What it didn't tell me was exactly what mark I DID get for the essay.

I've NEVER had such a good mark on a major assignment before - only in little 10 question quizes in 1st year! Oh, and maybe in my silly 1st year French class.
