Very much alike. It's an OSS implementation, and afaik, they've managed to get it working on Win, Linux, Mac, and Xbox. ^_^

There is also an open 'song' format for it, and lots of people have made their own songs for it.

While it's meant to be played with a dance pad, you can test it out with the arrow keys. It's very slick, and surprisingly hard when you try the higher difficulty levels. And it's still addictive with just a keyboard...
