lines of code to bypass/remove an "Undocumented Feature"...only to have the powers-that-be (who are ACTUALLY responsible for the assigning the additional coding) tell you "nah...don't worry about it...we're shipping it as is...it's not going to be an issue"...a month later when clients start using it the "Feature" you coded against begins to pop up and clients aren't able to use the software (and in some cases even do business)...they begin to raise the roof with support...and the dev staff...only to realize the person who had the solution for the problem is no longer on the payroll...and copies of the fix aren't anywhere on site :)
