D-link WAP question by Astro-g2004-12-15 13:33:02
Wireless stuff needs juice. by themadkansan 2004-12-15 14:05:53
The wireless AP's transceiver takes a good bit of power to run; it likely needs all of what the old wart was giving it. Trying to run it with something that puts out less than what it requires means that it may not work right, and it may damage it. You'd be best off to find something that is at least equal if not beefier than what it originally had.

Seconded. If they supply 2.5A then it needs 2.5A by AndyA2004-12-15 14:22:52
