I won't be a trademark lawyer because pretty much all firms that do trademarks also do patents, and they require an undergrad degree in sciences and I don't have one of those.

In the real world, if I'm an attorney at all, it'll be transactional work. There's always time to consult references.

In the real world, I'll have *years* to develop familiarity with factors and tests and whatnot. Instant memorization won't be expected.

My memory *sucks*. It always has. The only thing I've ever been able to memorize with any consistency is music, and that's from repetition and muscle memory. Not from rote.
